I've got a somewhat related question about this Chase policy.

I applied for the BA Chase card back in early December and was denied due to having applied for another Chase card within 6 months and also due to a high balance showing on my credit report. This high balance was due to a credit card funding w/ Citi and has now been paid off and isn't showing on my credit report. Also, it has now been more than 6 months since that last card was applied for.

What I'm wondering is if I should re-apply for the BA Visa card or call and see if they will reconsider my old application? I'm not sure how long you have for a reconsideration and I don't mind if they want to do another hard pull to see that the balance has been paid off.

So what do you all think would be the best course of action here?

TIA
