No. F no-shows (due to misconnects and such) is different from an Elite boarding and giving up their upgrade chances (per DL's procedures) but then expecting the FA to stop final preparations for pushback to go down the list and upgrade an Elite that has already buckled up in Y.
So, just to be clear, if the plane is fully boarded, and there are F no-shows, who should get the F seats? Should the GA get Elites from Y? Should the FA do it? Give the seats to non-revs or whoever the lead FA chooses? What and how should best be done best with those seats?
