Haven't gotten miles for LAN flight, but I can't find my boarding pass. What to do?
Forgive me, for I may have committed a sin.
I took a flight on LAN (from Iguazu to Buenos Aires) a few weeks ago. I gave LAN my AA account number, and I saw it printed on my boarding pass. So far, the AA miles for the LAN flight have not posted.
In the past, if AA miles did not credit, I've been able to get miles for flights on AA partners by mailing the boarding pass to AA.
But, woe is me, I cannot find the boarding pass for that LAN flight.
Two questions:
1. How long would you expect it to take for AA miles to post for a LAN flight?
2. If I have misplaced my boarding pass, is there anything else I could reasonably do to try to get AA to credit miles for that flight?
Thankfully, it was a short flight - if I've screwed up and lost that boarding pass, I'm only out a few miles. But I hate to miss any mile-earning opportunity.
