The boarding game is complicated enough as it is, now we have to wait for everyone to board just to get a possible up'g? Why could NWA do this w/o any problem and DL says it's above and beyond?
How is it complicated if you know how the system works? Instead, you want to close the boarding door and delay departure as the passenger in Y gathers up their belongings and move to F, search for space for their carryon in the overhead and resettle into their seat? FAs already have enough to deal with before pushback. Maybe the Captain should do the inviting instead and the First Office can help carry the Elite's belongings too.
