I realize that I have to pick "main destination", or go to port-of-entry consulate. However, there's quite a bit of a difference between consulates. For example, I heard that Italy and Spain tend to be very strict and are generally too nit-picking. While Germany seems to be more reasonable and is more willing to listen and understand. Does that match your experiences? What about France?
