My apologizes for what I imagine is a very basic question. I've tried to search but could not find anything for US Airways.

Does each leg of a trip with a connection count as "segment" for preferred qualification? (round-trip with connection = 4 segments)

If there is a stop but no plane change with the same flight number, the entire flight counts as one segment, correct?
