I've seen plenty of discussion regarding the 20 partners for 20,000 miles program, but very little on AA's other big promotion for 20,000 miles. For the 20,000 people who fly the most miles (bonus miles do not count) between 5/1/01 and 9/30/01, AA will award those flyers with 20,000 bonus miles.

Anyone have any realistic ideas as to how many miles one would have to fly during that duration to be considered a top 20,000 flyer?
