I am making a push to get a CP in the first 1/2 of the year and just wanted to know exactly how to figure it.

Short answer = all credits count.

Are you certain the timelines are the same? The RR Account Snapshot page shows a point total (that spans the 24 rolling months) that includes all non-expired credits... CP only goes back a year...

Of course, if you're already a CP, your earning period will differ from your last 12 months... (see the Wiki)
