Cost of baggage fees to AA

I realize all of the legacy carriers have imposed the baggage fee and as an EXP it doesn't really affect me personally however I do wonder how much it costs AA and the other airlines in lost revenue when non status fliers use Southwest to avoid the fees.

I took my family of 5 to Vegas in December. Due to baggage fees I chose to fly SWA at a cost of $2500 rather than giving AA the business...figured it would save baggage fees on 3 of the kids. Just yesterday I needed to book my son and a friend on a July STL-DEN trip...again booked SWA solely due to the baggage fees. The ticket cost was the same on both airlines.

I happen to like AA very much and haven't posted this as a rant. Just wondering how much business AA and others lose as a result of the ever increasing fees.
