The "favorite" captain announcements I have had the pleasure of hearing are always on OS. Granted, VIE is much much smaller than LHR, however they announce the following things on each and every flight I have been on:
-Slot time at VIE for landing
-About 15 minutes before actual landing they have a short very relaxing announcement of "All flight connections are guaranteed" OR "All flight connections are guaranteed EXCEPT passengers (destination) who have been rebooked". While the rebooked is definitely a letdown, it is nice to know before landing if you are even going to make your connection or not- and this is a big plus that "dreaming" BA could implement.
