Planning a trip from SFO-HKT this summer. I have two options: ANA in C to NRT, followed by a Thai 747, or the second option is an Asiana 747 followed by another Asiana flight on a 767. Never flown Asiana, understand its slanted biz seat is similar to ANA current C class (not a fan). What would folks recommend for best food and service, assuming seat is a wash?
If you do OZ, unless it is SFO-LAX-ICN-HKT, it would be 747 in the beginning, otherwise if you do SFO-ICN, it is 777, not 747. 777 would only have 50% chance of AVOD, whereas NH has AVOD throughout.
