How would the friend's reservation booked online indicate that? There is no way to make this known when booking online. As I have stated I have booked when logged into the accounts of others, and then ticketed from different accounts.

The friend booked online. The OP said he had to call in an change one leg. I assumed he also changed the friend's leg. There is also no indication he gave that agent the friend's credit card to pay the fees. Since he was paying the friend's fees, why would the agent not assume he was also paying the miles, if not told otherwise? Did he tell the agent he was paying the fees, but the mileage was supposed to come out of his friends account? There is no mention of the fee payment at all. I suspect that any destination taking 130K miles to get to, will have fees. The only non-fee tickets I have booked was a 10K intra-Peru flight

So, that is my question. Who paid the fees for the friend?
