I am dealing with a very similar issue, whereby I had an F redemption in two segments. BA cancelled the second segment and refunded the miles. But, I was told the tax refund would take some time to calculate. Its been 5 weeks of email correspondance and now they've gone dark on me. Its only $300, but its getting annoying now.
