Luckily, it wasn't. :-)
1. You have a non-changeable ticket and non-changeable means just that, so you can't change the flights and you can't waitlist.
Ah, if it is an unchangeable ticket why can the airline change it (to the worse and to the better)? :-)
I think that it is just fair to aks for a change if the airline changes the unchangeable ticket. I'm not asking to fly somewhere else or on a different date - I just don't want to wait longer than I had agreed to in my contract IF (!) there is an alternative option.
3. It's not a 5 hour wait. By the time you disembark, transit from T5B to T5A, take the bus to T3, clear security, it will be a 3 hour wait of doing nothing till you need to get to the gate.
Actually, I disembarked at ~14:20 and was at T3 already at ~14:45 after attending the washrooms, taking the train (I just missed the first one because I was too lazy to make a few quick steps), taking the bus and clearing security and I think also a passport check somewhere on the way, all without any hassle or hurry. At ~14:50 I reached the Servisair lounge and spent there ~1 hour and 20 minutes until the gate was announced on the screen.
Drinks were OK, snacks were a little, um British. :-)
