Does anyone know if they plan to phase them out? One of my favorite things about Dleta was their "all Boeing" class, which by far makes the superior planes. It makes sense that they only have to have one company maintaining their planes.
I'm sure that i am not the only one, but I have taken different routes just so that I don't have to fly on one of these when I get the chance.
Am I flying another Delta?

Judging by the DL planes on my routes with a 763 for TATL, another 763 from JFK to ATL, and MD88/90 or CRJ9 to my final destination, the OP's observation about IFE is - at least for me - just plain laughable. I would actually not be suprised if my mobile would ring with the 80's in line demanding their planes back!
What IFE are you talking about? The pTV screens I have experienced in the BusinessFirst cabin on at least 10 TATL trips last year equals the of the pTV on AF in Y. The selection of movies, TV episodes, and games, too. There are several threads on the condition of the 763 fleet here at FT, so please have a quick read. Some co-workers of mine even go a step further and drive 5hrs to FRA or (unbelievable, I know) connect in CDG in order to avoid riding a DL 763. Have you noticed how happy some of the FT'lers were, when DL messed up the seat maps and the 763 were displayed as 764 or 757 on DL.com? If - for instance for the TXL route - a 330 or 340 would show up, I'll hit the book button in a split second.
I would happily switch my 763 seat with your A330 at any time. I would rather relax in a super-quiet A340 (the only plane where I was able to have a good sleep TATL) that have a 777 make my ears go boom. Probably you should experience birds like the A380 first: my biggest downside on this plane is that I am held hostage on the tourist/Mr. Middle-Management chit chat of the rows in front and behind on me.
