does anyone know about the expiration date on the certificate?

i assume its 2 years from the date issued on the cert. so if i plan to travel with it in the future but dont know when it is in my best interested to cross the 30k threshold as late 2010 as possible?

thats my assumption. also, is it safe to say you dont need to have the chase BA card at the time of certificate redemption?

it seems no one has redeemed one yet.
