A330s are superior to Delta's almost-literaly falling-apart B767's (of course some - the ones that I had to fly in, not necessarily all) that are just shameful and worse than Air Zimbabwe (really): seats that are permanently reclined and can't be brought up, traytables broken and can't be "stowed away," trim falling off the sides, no IFE, stains everywhere (floor, seats, etc.), ripped and uncomfortable seats, etc. And, poor maintenance history to go along with that, that sometimes results in Delta losing insurance on its 767's.

Delta has some of the worst (at least from a passanger's inerior perspective and no IFE) B767's in service. If anything, I would hope for those to be retired and replaced with the superior NWA A330s, that have the lie-flat (slightly angled, "Minbari style") seats in FC and overall better interior, decent IFE system (though a bit slow to respond and its Linux server can crash from time to time), more overhead storage, etc.
