LOL - I'm sure the advice is well intentioned, but ignoring uniformed individuals in the US who are shouting at me to stop, while a little impolite and sophomoric just works well for me and I'm comfortable with it. Now that I think about it, I've been doing it as far back as I can remember, and it's only in the US that uniformed individuals seem to get the urge to expend calories to chase me down and physically stop me. Never happens in Arab countries or Asia, where they seem to respect the fact that I stop for no one.
