The OZ 767 has an inferior slanted seat in C.
I know, slanted = inferior, but work with me. The 767 seats are OK for short haul but just not as good as even old UA old C, IMHO for a 5-7 hour evening flight, especially after a trans-pac. The recline just isn't there. I guess I'd call them wedgie bed wanna-be's - as if that is something worth aspiring to.
If the choice is only between OZ and NH, I think it depends on what NH is running to BKK. From NRT-BKK, I have been on both their long haul C and regional C, both on 777's. The NH long haul C is much better than OZ 767 C, regional C is a toss-up. However, I have seen (and passed on) NH schedules with a 767 running between NRT & BKK, so I don't know what their 767 C product is like.
Service is similarly fine on both, for food, I'd give a small edge to NH, but that's slicing the baloney a little thin as both are quite good.
