Not really harassment towards us. Sure, it's an annoyance, but it's also your preference. If you don't feel comfortable being patted down with gloves that might have touched someone else, it's for sure your right to ask the TSO to change their gloves. If they refuse (which they shouldn't), ask for the supervisor asap.
As for private screening, there usually isn't a place to do it at the gates. We have
0 problem escorting you back to the checkpoint to help you with that. It's all for your privacy, so we have no problem with this.
Also, ignoring us when we're trying to get your attention for additional screening would, generally speaking, be a bad idea. I have no idea what would happen IF a passenger did that, i'm just saying that that would be a bad idea.
