Try to get CX in at least one direction; e.g. LAX-HKG<STOP>PVG/HGH; 50k miles + ~$70

JL isn't bad either, but the taxes are a tad higher and you don't have the option of stopping in HKG. Whatever you do: 1) book one way at a time; and 2) keep all flights in each direction on the same airline. KA counts as CX, I think.
