I had a good laugh on Air New Zealand a few months ago. The LAX AKL flight pulled into AKL an hour early , at 4.45am. As we pulled off off the runway onto the taxi way the Purser was doing her blurb, announcing 'You can now switch on your electronic devices and receive and send text messages.........if anyone is awake'
