There are, however, very, very many individuals with breast reconstructions, colostomy bags, adult diapers, pressure garments, and other completely harmless medical items or devices attached to or embedded within their bodies. These are the people who virtual strip-searches are going to "catch" and subject to embarrassing and invasive searches -- people who, as noted elsewhere in this thread, would have passed through a WTMD without an alarm or a raised eyebrow, and should not need to explain their private medical history to some buffoon in a blue shirt with a tin badge to get onto an airplane.
And once again, Osama bin Laden is congratulating himself on making Americans freak out and make themselves less free and less safe, and TSA and its employees continue to carry out his most successful attack on America.
There's got to be a lawsuit in there somewhere if these individuals are constantly singled out for further humiliation.
