It seems similar to "Diamond Force" reservations for Diamond members through HHonors for Hilton hotels. They are not usually worth it because they come at inflated "rack" rates, but they allow them for award reservations which makes the benefit invaluable in some cases.
The rates for the corporate accts. have always been the same for me. Great deal. People can't get a car if their life depended on it, regular rate is $120 a day, and I pick up a car for less than $40. Or use a coupon and pay $0. Pretty sweet.
