How about direct flights Friday-Sunday ORD-MIA during feb and march... $700-$900 (AA and UA).... I have to assume they are filling up their planes at these prices... but no thanks for me.
I've been going for years and was willing to pay what I consider to be a lot, like $500, but $800 no thanks.
And pay $550 for connecting flights, they must be joking!
