Most of my colleagues have the Verizon or Sprint cards but I just don't see paying another monthly fee when I already have a Smartphone (and I can tether to it if necessary). I would also feel more obligated to work more if they gave me one.

To me, I think offering "paid Internet" in free Internet hotels is a bad idea from a marketing point of view. That is like admitting the free Internet is not good. I would rather that they put some kind of bandwidth limit per computer first if it is easy to do. I think surfing the web is one thing but streaming video is another.

The strange thing with this hotel is that as the evening progressed past 10PM or 11PM, things did not get much faster.
