KH: Point well taken, this is exactly what I'm trying to say. Thanks for the suggestion.

I wonder if AC MAPLEFLOT corporate people understand the greatest asset to any service-oriented industry is customer loyalty and goodwill.... isn't that the reason why Aeroplan is set up for? To build up customer loyalty and satisfaction? Its time for Uncle Milton and his big bunch of juvenile Execs to go back to college to take some Management classes. You do not p*ss off your customers. Maybe he should have studied harder back then.

Another good example would be CX. A long while back then they had a 747-400 stranded in Anchorage, Alaska duing a YYZ-HKG flight. They screwed up in handling tha pax. at Anchorage but then gave a hefty compensation. I think it was some amount in cash and a free YYZ-HKG RT Ticket. No one complained.

But in my case, All I received is a CAD$10 phone card, good for a 9 minute call to HKG, and a $23 meal voucher for some cold salad & petrified bread at the hotel. They did not mention ANY form of tangible compensation in $$$, free tickets or Aeroplan Mileage.

Regarding the tardiness of the flights, 9 out of 10 flights I have taken w/ AC in the past 3 months were late by at least one hour.
