I don't really remember, but I don't think I would have done that. I have booked the flights (six altogether) back in April and over the months the flights were shifted and shifted and shifted around over and over again. I simply lost track. I just had a printout at hand from June, after, as I recall, some changes had already happened.

Well, they could have booked me on the earlier flight right away. They knew at what time I was coming in from SFO. But, OK, it's probably a not so clever computer doing that rebooking. No issue with that. But when I called them first they wouldn't rebook me to the most reasonable connection because they said only the Travel Agent could do that. (Other airlines don't seem to have this limitation and, suddenly, even BA can do it.)

I didn't know about the 16:20 flight until I checked the timetable when I figured I had 5:15 hours between arrival and departure and that I would arrive even later in BCN.
But, yes, now that they finally agreed to rebook me they have done me a favour. This is what I wanted them to do and I am happy about it.
