The guaranteed reservation 24 hours in advance is golden, though. That one hits home the first time you use it. Huge. My question is, what are the rates of these "guaranteed" rentals when they becomes available? Is it at inflated rates (as sold-out locations often are)? And, can you use the earned "free rental" days towards a guaranteed reservation?
It seems similar to "Diamond Force" reservations for Diamond members through HHonors for Hilton hotels. They are not usually worth it because they come at inflated "rack" rates, but they allow them for award reservations which makes the benefit invaluable in some cases.
