We got in a taxi in Atlanta to go about 3 miles in traffic December. Driver didn't turn the meter on. Hmm, I thought, and started making a note of his vehicle number.
When we got to the destination he said $100, but quickly, like he was embarrassed or sensed he wouldn't get away with it. 'Pardon?' I said. '$10', he said. 'Ok'.
