Hi all. I did some searching and people have discussed to the DFW 45 minute connection time before. However, I was wondering if anyone had any specific experience with this flight.

I'm flying Burbank to DFW 2:05pm to 7:00pm. I then have to make my connecting flight from DFW to GRU at 7:45pm. I called american, and they said this connection is on time 70-79% of the time. I don't want to cut it this close, but the only other options are to fly out of the Los Angeles area at 7a.m. in the morning, and wait around in dallas for 6 hours. :\

Does anyone have any advice/experience on this one?
