I go along with that - sort of - but the £150 fee to me is sufficient value (I would hazard even with a low limit - although mine is not low) given the opportunity to get a 241 on reaching the £10k spend, i.e. the ONLY reason I have the card is to get 241s, which is how I justify the fee. Admittedly, it would take much longer to reach the £10k on a low limit, but my spend and travel patterns make it perfectly acceptable to trigger every July/August.
My limit is somewhere between £16k and £17k.
The 241 is the only reason I took the card, at that price with that limit. But that's all I can use it for; 'pushing through' just enough transactions to trigger the voucher. I had planned to swap over and use it as my primary credit card, but with such a stupid limit it's not much use to me a proper credit card.
It's frustrating and doesn't seem to make a lot of business sense.
