I looked again - forcing the "non stop" option and it showed up, but it costs $12500 in business v/s $7500 via Narita. As much as I would like to fly non stop, I think the price difference is too much. I am looking last week of April.

+1 on taking SQ1/SQ2 in C. Awesome, and generally around the same price as UA!
But if you are set on UA you might want to consider pricing it out with a consolidator.
