Supposedly, Delta is revamping BusinessElite service. They've already made significant changes in the hard product (duvets, better pillows, etc.) and more are on the way (lie-flat seats).
There are various claims that Delta is now revising the rest of the product. What would you like to see?
Here are mine to get started:
- Dedicated BusinessElite lounges, or at least sectioned-off areas of SkyClubs in key gateway cities, that offer a less cluttered experience and more substantitive food.
- An option for in-lounge dining prior to evening flights from key gateway cities (JFK, ATL) to Europe.
- Restore the BusinessElite Concierge program.
- Limo service in key gateway cities (like many European carriers offer) for full-fare BusinessElite passengers (i.e., J, C, but not D, or I).
- Restore the option for "expedited" in-flight dining without deleting courses. Make it a truly expedited experience though - meal service complete within 10-15 minutes of the seatbelt light going off.
- Get rid of cart service in BusinessElite. If that's logistically impossible, then at least minimize the use of carts and "dress them up" a bit.
- True "priority baggage handling" for BusinessElite passengers through to the final destination - not just to the US arriving gateway.
- Cut a deal with the airport/TSA for completely separate, dedicated BusinessElite security screening. I believe they already do this at JFK.
