Well, my first impulse was to suggest going to LGK or HKT or something with MH, but ExpertFlyer shows zero availability for those dates, unfortunately.
There is a China Eastern flight to KL, but the timing kind of stinks - 9pm to 2:25am on the outbound and 3:25am to 8:25am for the return. You could connect there to an Air Asia flight to a lot of places for little cash. There is better timing on the flight to BKK - 9:40pm to 12:55am on the way out and either 4:55pm to 10pm or 1:55a to 7:00a on the return. Flights from BKK to HKT, USM, or REP aren't that expensive if you wanted to go to one of those places. Can't seem to check MU availability on ExpertFlyer - I could have sworn that you could do this.
If you are willing to stay in China, CZ seems to have availability on flights to Sanya, Hainan, which looks like a pretty cool island. There is a 9pm flight out on the 28th and a 5:10pm flight back on the 3rd, both showing availability on ExpertFlyer.
If you want to go to Korea, ExpertFlyer shows availability for PVG-ICN on China Southern, but the flight leaves at 2:55pm on the 28th. There are later KE and MU flights, if there is availability. For the return, there is a 6:45pm flight on CZ that would work well, showing available. Personally, I quite liked Seoul - the food is some of the best on earth, IMO.
Finally, you can try to get to Singapore on either SQ or China Eastern, as well. I'm partial to Singapore, but not everyone loves it.
