So to complete the story, you originally booked the itinerary with a 4 hour transit at LHR. There was in fact no time change of your BA482 that you were booked on, this flight was cancelled on Saturday, and they put you on the nearest alternative flight, departing one hour later, the BA488. Seems reasonable.
I assume you didn't book on the 1620 originally as this didn't have your cheap fare class available, so it looks BA have done you a favour.
