Taking regular cow milk for kid on a trans pacific flight?

Hi All,

I am flying sfo-singapore-india and back next month with an 18 month old. He's on cow's milk and I found a website online that sells whole milk in 8oz tetra packs that don't need refrigeration unless opened.

I am planning to take enough packages of milk (about 5) to last the flight. So that's about 40 ounces in total. The milk being in tetra packs and not in the bottle ... will this be an issue? I can explain that it does not require refrigeration unless opened to the tsa agent but not sure if this will fly with them. Any experience you can share will be great!

the website that sells milk in tetrapacks is www.milkonthemoove.com - they also have other varieties of milk that may be suitable for older children.

Thanks!
