Welcome to the world of "Budget", as far as I'm concerned, it's all a little game, the discount budget codes but another variable in the game to the find the best price for the "best" car. Is it right? No. Am I gonna waste my time trying to find "whoever is responsible" in not giving me an advertised discount? No, I just look at it as a game, and when I can take advantage, I do. So when someone tells me the rental companies have a certain profit model and do this and that, I just laugh. Pathetic.

I just put in the codes for DL 40% off plus quadruple miles. It accepts the codes no problem, but does not display any discount. I called Budget and they said the discount is reflected in the price. I then used no codes at all and got cheaper prices.
Am I doing something wrong? Why is the supposed discounted rate the same as the regular rate?
Avis states on their website the discount will be taken at the counter and is not reflected in the quote. Does Budget operate the same and was I given the wrong info by the customer service rep?
I just called back and the rep told me that there are probably no vehicles available for the coupon code. But, when I enter the code, it says it applies.
How are we to know the code is valid and actually giving the discount. As she explained it to me, it sounds very deceiving.
Any tricks I don't know about?
