ORD to HAM

Well, as long as I'm not the only asking. Are airfares from USA to Europe going to come down this summer? My destinations are running over $800 if I fly in Feb or March, and much higher if I fly in June, which is when I need to go. Last summer I found prices more around $600.

Details, if you are interested, are:

I'd like to fly from ORD or DTW to HAM. I'm on Kayak for all sorts of combinations from ORD or DTW to HAM, DUS, or AMS. I need to go and bring back an 8 week old puppy. Breeder will not ship blindly to a stranger. I will be landing on a Saturday and leaving again on a Sunday. The difference in price of staying 1 or 2 more days is offset by the money I would need to spend for a hotel and meals, etc.

Any prognosticators out there? Also, I used to fly a lot before 2001, now it's just a hassle that I try to avoid, but I can't drive to Europe. (I miss the days when I could fly from ORD to FCO for $250 and have an empty seat next to me.)
