Unhappy What does this email from CO mean?

My son is planning to travel today on CO 1545 out of CLE to IAH and then on CO 1689 IAH-SAN. This morning we checked online and everything looks fine. He's checked in, he has a seat, he has printed his boarding pass. The flight is not cancelled. It appears to be on time. The plane is en route from Phoenix.

Yet, last night at 9:13pm EST he received the email below. Is he on the flight? What does this mean? I haven't been able to get through to any of the CO phone numbers so is the best advice for him to go to the airport and hope they let him on the plane? I've never seen an email like this and don't understand what it means. It sounds like they kicked him off the flight, but then his reservation info is all in order! Please advise!
