Anyone who has been can chime in on this one but I've held a 3 nights stay in May on a travelzoo rate, which I gather from searching earns HH points and stay credit, at this hotel at what I think is a rate so good it's hard to go wrong. The special is Thurs. - Sun. stays and at $139.00 + tax per night for an executive king suite seems to more than make up for what others have pointed out to be noteworthy considerations regarding this hotel such as its location away from Midtown. Having breakfast included is another bonus that appealed to me even if it is the standard hotel buffet offerings.

I wish the rate was availale other days of the week as it'll mean me switching hotels while in NYC but it seemed too good of a deal to pass up, especially when I found it wasn't a nonrefundable or fully prepaid rate and could be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to arrival without charge.
