Again, very good advice from travelmad746. What this does is show you that this country (and especially the Western Cape) offers an amazing variety of exploration options!

Come to Franschhoek restaurants, my favourite is "La Petite Ferme" on the Franschhoek pass (on the right hand side after leaving franschhoek, just past Haute Cabriere which is on the left hand side). Open for lunch only (unless this has changed) and booking is usually essential. Their trout is my favourite! They have very nice accomodation as well!
