Am flying LAX-MSP-MKE tonight and also have the Platinum EP designation on both mine and Ms.rcbarton's boarding pass but no idea why it is there. We are both silver. We were upgraded on LAX-MSP leg but are 8 and 9/11 on the upgrade list for MSP-MKE so it doesnt seem that it really conveys any superior privileges to what we are supposed to get.
