I don't agree. If children are to be allowed in the lounge, they should be there because they travel in CE/CW or are silver/gold. I can understand how staff can be sick and tired of all "special" requests.
This has been done to death, and I'm a fairly new member on FT
I think a reasonable compromise would be £20 for extra guests (up to maybe 2-3).
