I was considering a Star UG myself.....but this is a dicey situation if CO cannot help when you buy tix.
CO does let you cancel in 24hrs (in case the UG did not go thro).
Well - I asked about that, but she said these could not be cancelled since they were with another airline. I'm not sure that's true either...
