If I'm not mistaken, you should have been able to select a Grand Club room on the eStandby upgrade page as well, WHEN the hotel has one. I can see on the GH Denver's website though that the Corner room is the highest type of non-suite room they have http://granddenver.hyatt.com/hyatt/h...ocale=&start=6 so I think you did well!
