Call 1800-882-8880, and ask to be signed up for the Gold Challenge. You can choose to start on either the 1st or the 16th of each month, and have 3 months to complete the challenge. The agent will then inform you of the conditions, etc, just give him/her a cyber-nod.

Flying down south for 10,000+ miles? If you are flying full Y fare, J or F, then consider the Platinum challenge because 10,000+ miles on Y, J or F will get you 10,000+ q-points and hence satisfy the Platinum Challenge. If travelling economy non-Y, then you will receive 5,000+ q-points, in which case stick to the Gold Challenge.

If you forsee another long-haul in the coming 3 months, consider taking the Platinum Challenge now too (skip the Gold Challenge). You need 10,000 q-points in a period of 3 months.
