The upgrade is generally to a club room, however at many properties that literally means a room with club access, which is no different to a room on the club floor e.g. GH Melbourne. Some hotels do have club rooms as larger, better roooms such as the PH Melbourne. I don't know the property you refer to though, but the website should tell you if you look at the room descriptions.
