fyi, i was trying to book a trip to hawaii as well, when i called and asked for 4/28/10 flight from nyc to lih i got immediate "i have nothing available", i then asked what other days are avilable, cs rep mentioned few around my date, i then mentioned that i'm looking to get onto a specific flight # and somehow cs rep found seats available and i got to book exactly what i wanted

in the end i got the flights that i wanted by checking aa.com first and then calling ba about them specifically. on top of that none of my flights ever showed up on ba.com and i tried few time on different days, times, etc i also got the $20 fee waived because my type of booking is not possible online.
