Why Does UA Make Changes to Existing Flight Schedules?
What is the motivation for United changing schedule times, such as direct flights from XXX-ORD and back. They finally had a nice schedule for my business trips, leaving a bit after 7 AM on weekdays and a 6:30 PM return on Friday, but as of next week that are bumping up the early morning flight to 6:15 AM (pity my wife who has to drive me to the airport!) and the return to 8 PM (hitting worse car rental return traffic at O'Hare and getting in quite late that night).
So why the changes? Is it seasonal? Depending on traveler feed-back? If the latter, can I start providing input so I can get times more to my liking? With the reduction in direct flights, choices spaced four hours apart make it pretty apparent which ones are useful to me, so I am at their whim, but if there is an approach to make my preferences heard, what is the best way?
